Alexander McQueen

When Alexander McQueen graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London in 1992, the legendary publisher Isabella Blow was so impressed by the designer's debut collection that she bought every garment, deciding, from then on, to promote the brand. The rest is history. In all these years, in fact, the Mr McQueen brand has made itself known and appreciated all over the world, thanks to brilliant and unconventional collections, able to conquer - sometimes even shock - public and critical. After the tragic death of Alexander in 2010, the brand has chosen as its creative director the "pupil" of McQueen, the British designer Sarah Burton. The latter has brilliantly relaunched the house, combining a feminine and romantic design with that Gothic, punk and Victorian style so dear to Alexander.
